About Ingeborg

Ingeborg  has a PGDip from Royal Academy of Music in London and  graduated from Royal Danish Opera Academy in Copenhagen. Ingeborg had her debut as 4th Maid in Peter Konwitschny's production of Richard Strauss’ “Elektra” at the Royal Danish Opere. Since then she has sung Carmen/Mercedes (Carmen, Royal Danish Opera/Guidopera), ”Suzuki” (Madama Butterfly - Guidopera), Hänsel (Hänsel und Gretel - Copenhagen Opera Festiva 2016l) Flora (La Traviata - Hampstead Garden Opera/Guidopera), Laura (La Gioconda - Operafabriken), Emilia (Otello - Operafabriken) Ottavia (L’incoronazione di Poppea), and ”Maria” (Maria de Buenos Aires - Den Fynske Opera/Operamidt).

Ingeborg has been a soloist with Copenhagen Philharmonics, Odense Symphony Orchestra,  The Royal Danish Orchestra, Danish Chamber Players, Malmø Opera orchestra, Aarhus Simfonietta.

She is a recipient of scholarships from The Richard Wagner Society and Léonie Sonings Music Foundation as well as being prizewinner at several international competitions in Italy, and  has just been chosen as one out of only 16 singers to participate in the Lauritz Melchior International Singing Competition 2017.
